\nBusiness EXPO kicks off Small Business Week in the Coachella Valley
\nIgnite your entrepreneurial spirit! Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce, in support of all local merchants, Coachella Valley Small Business Week, November 16th – 25th.
\nThe week kicks-off with a Business EXPO held on November 16, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Fantasy Springs Special Event Center. About 100 innovative exhibitors will fill the showroom to highlight our community resources, local business professionals, leaders, business owners, nonprofit organizations and popular attractions – all with an emphasis on shopping local. There will be a mixture of new start-ups and long-established businesses.
\n“We are creating awareness and excitement around our local businesses by bringing together some of the brightest minds and best companies from the valley together at the EXPO,” says Chamber CEO Joshua Bonner. “These business owners, managers and staff live in our communities, send their kids to our schools, join service clubs, support our nonprofits and impact the desert economy. Supporting local business is one of the best ways to strengthen the local economy and we can all do it together. “
\nAttendees will enjoy local flavors and food samples while learning about products and services, networking with other industry professionals, and connecting first-hand with merchants. EXPO attendees will have a chance to receive a limited supply of buy-one, get-one free coupons for the casino buffet (one per person), and a chance to enter to win a cruise for two! Admission is $5.
\nEXPO attendees will experience a large sample of our local economy, from the CVLINK Experience Area to the three pop-up villages. Interaction, activity and music will fill the event space. The villages focus on the building, medical and business networking industries. The Villages are provided by DVBA (Desert Valley Builders Association) Act 1 (Aging Community Team) and BNI (Business Networking International).
\nCV Small Business Week ends with Small Business Saturday. Small Business Saturday is a national shopping holiday held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year and it sponsored by American Express.
